Deep Tissue Massage – A specific type of massage therapy that concentrates on the deep layers of muscle and fascia in the body. It is recommended by many doctors as a treatment option. By using deep finger pressure and slow, firm strokes, deep tissue massage is used to treat a variety of physical ailments, including chronic pain, high blood pressure, scar tissue, and injured muscles. It can also induce a deep state of relaxation.

Geriatric Massage – Designed to address the specific needs of the elderly population. This type of massage uses gentle and light application of massage techniques with oil or lotion to permit your muscles to be worked on without causing excessive friction to the skin. Geriatric massage has been shown to relieve anxiety and provide comfort, especially to touch-deprived elderly clients.

Guided Stretch Therapy (GST)  – GST is a specialized bodywork technique performed on a fully clothed individual, that assists with improving stiffness, reducing tightness, enhancing range of motion, improving flexibility, and reducing pain. Properly guided static stretching allows the nervous system and muscular system to work in synchronicity.

Guided Stretch Therapy has been proven to assist with recovery from injuries and from the soft tissue trauma experienced from exercise, and the participation in sporting events.

GST slows down the progression of muscle aging, improves the nervous system’s ability to relax, and aides in getting a better night’s sleep.  It is all possible due to the myofascial system being entertwined with the sensory receptors within the muscles, that connect to the spinal cord and the brain.  60 minute session $130.00

Lymphatic Drainage Manual Therapy Massage – A specialized body work technique that applies repetitive pressure at lymph node sites and a stroking technique along lymph vessels that stimulates the movement of lymph fluid. This therapy assists with post surgical swelling and inflammation due to numerous heath complaints such as sinusitis, arthritis, gastritis, back pain, neck pain and more. 60 minute session $130.00

Neuromuscular Therapy – Manual therapy using deep to firm pressure that consist of alternating levels of concentration around the primary and secondary areas experiencing pain or spasms within the soft tissue. It releases tight fascia, lactic acid and helps to increase blood and oxygen flow.

The Reiki energy enters the practitioner through the top of the head and exits through the hands, being directed into the body or energy field of the recipient. Reiki is a very subtle form of healing and may be done through clothing and without any physical contact between practitioner and client. This gentle healing method is complementary to any other therapy.
