OFFICE INFORMATION POLICY

The Washington Institute is a natural health care facility that provides client care and apprenticeship style training programs. The practitioners that provide health care services at the center also teach natural health care classes. This method provides the student with a well-rounded education. The students have teachers with current clinical knowledge.
The classes are typically small, as a result the student receives specialized attention. Our classes can be just one student or there can be up 10 students in a class. Classes any larger will loose their personalized appeal.

Our Teachers Set Aside Time Just For You!

Natural health care teachers are independent contractors. Their salaries are based directly upon the number of students they teach. When a student cancels it directly affect the teacher. They spend time and effort reporting to our office and setting up for each student. If you need to cancel please notify our office as soon as possible. 48-hour notice allows the teacher time to re-organize their schedule.

Refund Policy

Class Tuition:

The tuition less the deposit will be refunded to a student who withdraws from a program two days prior to the class start date. No refunds are issued once the student attends the first day of class.

Deposits:

Once a deposit is paid the teachers and staff start preparing for the student. Therefore, labor and office supplies are used prior to the student actually attending the class. Handbooks, handouts, and materials are prepared before the first day of class. As a result, these expenses need to be covered. If a student can not make a class the deposit can be applied to a future class otherwise the deposit is non-refundable.
Please note the Institute receives no subsidy or government funding for its programs. All expenses are covered by the tuition the student pays.

Rescheduling A Class:

When a student cancels and reschedules a private class, one day prior to the event, the student will be charged a $50.00 rescheduling fee.
